Thousands of cases may still be tossed after drug-lab abuse

Thousands of cases still on the books after a drug lab chemist was convicted of stealing and using the drugs from the lab in question should be thrown out, lawyers say, after Massachusetts officials “misled defense counsel about that evidence, and committed a fraud on the court in order to minimize the scope of the scandal.”
